Lotus dominated Motorsports in the 1960s and 1970s.  Colin Chapman's genius in engineering was match with suburb driving talent from the likes of Moss, Hill, Rindt, Peterson, Andretti and Fittipaldi.  Arguably the finest driver for the team and possibly in all of Formula 1 history was Jim Clark.  With 25 wins an 32 podium finishes, Clark established himself as one of the all-time great motorsport drivers before his untimely passing in 1968 at the age or 32.

This 1:12 scale die cast model of Clark's stunning the 1967 Lotus 49 was crafted by world renowned Automodello.  Presented in the traditional green and yellow livery as displayed in its maiden race and subsequent win at the Dutch Gran Prix.   The model is authorized and licensed by Classic Team Lotus.  Each car features Automodello's legendary attention to detail from the gauges to the Ford engine and even the suspension components.

Only 499 will ever be built.  The product release is scheduled for July 2014 but pre-orders are being accepted now.
