Once again we find ourselves staring out the window at the ice and snow and dreaming of Spring. A quick glance at the calendar reveals that May is coming up fast and that means yet another Annual Lotus Fish and Chips Run!

This year's event will be on Sunday, May 1st. We will meet at our usual spot at the municipal lot in the center of Milford N.J.(70 Bridge Street) at 12:00 pm (noon). After a scenic drive, we will return to the lo t and walk across the street to The Ship Inn (http://www.shipinn.com/) to sample some of the excellent British cuisine.

We  have invited some special guests from literally around the world to attend this year's event. Some guests include:

T.J Waszak- Head Lotus Technician for Fox Valley Motorcars in Chicago

Abraham Reyes-  Lotus Sales Manager and former Lotus Cars USA West Coast Sales Director from California

Malcolm Barnett- Former Lotus Sport Engineer responsible for the Exige Cup Car and the supercharger systems for the Elise and Exige.

Last year featured a PA drive so this time it will be a NJ side run depending on how the roads made it through the winter.

Please RSVP no later than April 18th (so I can get a good head count for the restaurant). There is no charge to attend.  We only ask you pay for your food at The Ship Inn which will be served Buffet Style at $20pp.

Because of the guests coming from outside the region this year, this will be a rain or shine event. If the weather turns bad, we will simply eliminate the drive but the meal will occur regardless.

You DO NOT need to be a Lotus owner to attend. This event is open to all passionate enthusiasts and their family and friends.  You do not even have to bring a car.  Just bring your passion and desire to have a great time.

This is a FREE EVENT.  You only need to pay for food if staying for dinner.
