The organizers of the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed announced that one of our favorite marques, Lotus, would be honored at the 2012 event as the featured brand.  2012 represents a big year for Lotus as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Elan launch, 40th anniversary of the Esprit show car Introduction, 35th anniversary of the ground-breaking Type 78 F1 car and 20th anniversary of the Type 108 bicycle win at the Barcelona Olympics.  With such a huge honor for the company we thought' "hey let's make a party out of it and take our friends with us!"

Our exciting trip will take us around the UK on an automotive equivalent of nirvana for a week, visiting the Festival of Speed and home of some of the greatest Sports Car manufacturers in the  world.  The schedule of events is as follows:

• June 27th:  Our trip will begin with an arrival in London with free time in London for those that arrive early.
• June 28th:  Collection of guests and travel to Goodwood.  Accommodations near the Festival
• June 29th- July 1st:  3 amazing days at the worlds greatest motorsports show, The Goodwood Festival of Speed. Transport daily from our hotel to the event.
• July 2nd:  Transport and a full day at Group Lotus including a factory tour and meet and greet with some of the executive staff.  Accommodation in Norwich
• July 3rd:  Lotus Driving Academy (extra fee for this optional event, tentatively scheduled). Accommodation
• July 4th:  Free day in the U.  Accommodation
• July 5th:  Travel to Leeds and a visit to the Ginetta Factory.  Tour and meet and greet with the managing staff.  Accommodation.
• July 6th: Transport back to London Heathrow for travel home.

 
The final schedule is still forming and there may be some added surprises as things solidify.

Cost for this trip of a lifetime is $2,450 per person (based on double occupancy). This includes hotels, transport for the period, driver, fuel costs, breakfast at Norwich hotel, guide services at featured stops, collection & delivery to airport.   Payment schedule is as follows:

• Deposit of 25% due at registration
• Second Payment of 25% due March 14th
• Final Payment Due on April 15th

Deposits will only be refundable until February 29th.  After that, no refunds are available.  You may opt to pay for the full trip at Registration.  If opting for payments, you will be billed electronically (by email) 14 days prior to the payment due date.  Failure to pay the invoice by the  due date will result in forfeiture of monies paid and position on tour.
 
So what is not included?  Entry to Goodwood and tickets (follow this link for more information), food, insurance, air travel, additional added nights and associated costs and the Lotus Driving Academy at Hethel (tentative).

We only have 8 slots available.  Once they are gone, we will take wait list positions with a deposit until March 14th.  If a position does become available, you must make your second payment by March 21st.  If a position does not open up by March 14th, you will be refunded your entire deposit in full.
