BOE and Coast Fabrication jointly developed this system specifically for the Lotus Elise and Exige.  The two corporations, with extensive motorsport success and R&D, has created what may be the best aftermarket system available for Lotus.  It has been tested in motorsport applications with 320HP with no adverse effects.  Built from 304 Stainless Steel Construction and featuring a Mandrel bent exit pipe and 100% TIG weld application, the exhaust provides increased flow and improved second cam sound while eliminating the drone present in the OEM systems and many aftermarket solutions.  Prehaps the best feature is the ability to rebuild the exhaust utilizing the available BOE kit.   The Silent Touch utilizes a combination fiberglass and stainless hybrid packing.  Mounted utilizing the BOE proprietary hollow stainless steel rod system and stock hangers, the system has been engineered with movement to reduce stress cracking and "walking" that plague other systems.  NOTE: this item requires removal of the rear panel and use of a eliminator bracket like the BWR Rear License Plate Bracket is required.  Requires the removal of part of the heat shielding and either trimming or removing one of the rear side panels.
